Russian Missile and Drone Strikes Damage Ukrainian Broadcaster in Kyiv

Russia’s latest missile and drone barrage against Kyiv has damaged the building of Ukrainian broadcaster “We Are Ukraine” (Ми — Україна), according to Ukrainian authorities and the broadcaster.

The attack was part of a wider wave of Russian strikes across the capital, with missiles and drones hitting multiple areas of Kyiv. The broadcaster’s building was damaged during the daytime assault, with several staff members reportedly injured.

Emergency crews were deployed to the site as fires and structural damage were reported following the strike.

The attack came shortly after a brief pause in major strikes during the visit of U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who traveled to Kyiv as Washington attempted to revive stalled peace negotiations. Russia subsequently resumed large-scale attacks against the Ukrainian capital.

The latest strikes have also damaged residential and civilian infrastructure across Kyiv, highlighting the continued intensity of Russia’s long-range missile and drone campaign.

The situation remains highly fluid. Details of the damage and casualties may change as Ukrainian authorities continue assessing the aftermath, while individual claims surrounding specific strike targets have not been independently verified.
