RUSSIA’S CAPTURED UKRAINIAN DRONES SPARK FEARS OF POSSIBLE “FALSE-FLAG” ATTACKS IN EUROPE
Russia has reportedly captured a large number of Ukrainian drones, raising concerns among European countries that Moscow could potentially use them in attacks against strategic targets inside Europe while making them appear to have been launched by Ukraine.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the alleged scenario could involve the use of captured Ukrainian-made or Ukrainian-operated weapons to create political confusion and damage relations between Kyiv and NATO countries.
European officials reportedly fear such an operation, if carried out, could be designed to falsely attribute an attack to Ukraine and fuel tensions within the NATO alliance.
