Senegal are the first African team in history to score five goals in a men’s World Cup match.

Their 5-0 win over Iraq is the biggest ever victory by an African nation.

Ismaila Sarr, Pape Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye all scored and assisted for Senegal against Iraq.

The last time a team had three players score and assist in a World Cup match? Brazil 1-7 Germany (Toni Kroos, Sami Khedira, Thomas Muller).

A historic victory for Pape Thiaw’s side, which looks to have kept their World Cup hopes alive…
