UPND National youth chairperson Mr Gilbert Liswaniso commonly known as General Mosquito yesterday gave a directive to the UPND youths never to get orders from any national youth official which has Previously allowed miscommunication and misconduct.
Mr Liswaniso fondly known as General Mosquito yesterday expressed his anger and displeasure on how some UPND youths have been using his name to misconduct or abuse other people in the name of being in the ruling party.
The National youth chairperson said UPND was and is a political party with order and whoever misconduct himself or herself must be reliable or accountable for his acts.
” Many are using my name to abuse other people when I’m not aware of any activity and later accuse me of leaving the Youths behind when I have been with the Youths to an extent of sacrificing my opportunity in government so that I remain with the Youths outside government” stated Liswaniso.
Mr Liswaniso said this yesterday when he visited UPND Youths in mandevu constituency and Lusaka central Constituency.
He warned against misconduct, disorderly and abuse of the public in the name of being in power. He indicated that he was ready to be unpopular youth chairperson for allowing the right thing to happen unlike tolerating lawlessness in order to win support.
He further called on the public to be vigilant about those who claim to have been sent by the national youth chairperson of the UPND and even confirm with the UPND National youth chairperson’s office to avoid being misused and that whoever will be found wanting will have himself to blame as he will not suppose illegal activities.
Mr Liswaniso assured all youths in the 156 Constituencies that he is on the random tour to lecture one another on the UPND budget and what UPND government has for youths within their Constituencies because UPND believes in decentralization.
