makeup artist Felistus Banda, a death which comes barely 30 days after pastor Edgar Simanwe, alias man of faith, was reported to have taken his life, MMD president Nevers Mumba has urged Zambians to be “a brother’s keeper”

SUICIDE NOT THE ANSWER…
Over the past few weeks, we have lost precious people who have taken their own lives. Notable among them is the young promising Prophet Edgar Simanwe of Kafue and just yesterday, another young accomplished beautician young lady, Felistus.
Complexities of life are not resolved by the events that happen in our lives but by an abiding presence of God.
As a nation, let us learn to become our “brother’s” keeper. Just returning some one’s phone call can save a life. The call this time may not be a request for money. It could be the last call you will ever get from your friend or family member.
I call on everyone doubting the reason for being alive to shift your focus in life to the following scripture:
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and ALL these things(necessities of life)shall be added unto you.”
Don’t give up on yourself because of what someone has said or not said to you. Don’t take your own life because of events, words or lack of material things.
Seek God’s presence and His righteousness and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace.
Above everything else, seek His PRESENCE.
