Switch on your phones,we won’t ask for money, Chief Nsama tells Nalumango
SENIOR Chief Nsama of the Tabwa-speaking people in Nsama District, Luapula Province, has alleged that Vice President Mutale Nalumango has switched off her phones, claiming she believes people only call to ask for money.
And the traditional leader says the people of his chiefdom are determined to vote out the UPND in the August 13 general election.
Speaking when National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity—NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile, his running mate Makebi Zulu and their entourage paid a courtesy call on him at his palace, Senior Chief Nsama claimed that he has not been unable to reach the Vice President.
“I tell you, God is powerful. I bless you, Brian Mundubile. I am saying that on August 13, my people here in Nsama Chiefdom will give you their votes,” said the traditional leader.
“I am not talking politics. What is on the minds of the people here is change because of how they are living and what they are seeing. It’s not that people love you;
“people simply want change. The same change that came when Chiluba was vying for the presidency is the change people want now,” the Senior Chief said.
Senior Chief Nsama urged leaders to remain accessible to citizens, alleging that the Vice President had become unreachable.
“So, [Brian Mundubile] when you are voted into office, work for the people. People just want change. Even phones have been switched off by [Vice President Mutale] Nalumango. But switch on your phones; we are not calling to ask for money. We are only asking for development,” he said.

We understand HIM. We CAN’T SAY ANYTHING BAD TOWARDS HIM. At times people make mistakes and he has made one
He is a Chief and has to be WISE. We know he is NOT talking politics as he has pointed out. But his words are political!
UPND is a performing government.
