Tayali Dismisses NRPUP Withdrawal from Tonse Alliance as “Politically Irrelevant”*
Economic Equity Party President Chilufya Tayali has rubbished the withdrawal of NRPUP from the Tonse Alliance, describing it as an irrelevant move meant to block a petition.
Tayali said the withdrawal changes nothing, because a petition can still be filed if Brian Mundubile wants to.
According to him, the Tonse Alliance is not a registered political party and no candidate contested under a Tonse Alliance ticket.
He also questioned the motive behind the move, asking what those who planned the withdrawal were thinking.
