THAILAND, AFC AND CZECH REPUBLIC CONGRATULATE HICHILEMA ON RE-ELECTION:
Prime Minister of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as President of the Republic of Zambia.
Mr Charnvirakul said Thailand was ready to continue working with Zambia to strengthen long-standing cooperation and deepen relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has also congratulated President Hichilema on his re-election.
AFC President and Chief Executive Officer Samaila Zubairu said the corporation, as a longstanding development partner of Zambia, was prepared to support the President’s vision for the country’s economic transformation.
In a separate message, Czech Republic President Petr Pavel also congratulated President Hichilema on his re-election.
President Pavel noted that Zambia and the Czech Republic share a long history of close relations and friendship, which he said continues to deepen.
The messages of congratulations from Thailand, the AFC and the Czech Republic reflect continued international interest in strengthening cooperation with Zambia and supporting its economic development agenda.
