It’s no brainer that the artectect of unsurping power through illegal possible means was Alick Banda and his surrogates. So much evidence points to that.
1. Mundubile and Makebi attachment to Alick Banda after DEC summoned him on motor vehicle investigation.
Mundubile and Makebi couldn’t hide their association with the tainted Bishop, they called it persecution, and vowed to fight back the state. Now who vows to fight government for trying to address a possible corruption case? At this point, Alick Banda acclaimed himself as possible King maker, probably to oust government and disguise his corruption which has heavily tainted his image.
2. Alick Banda holds Candle light service to signal government take over.
The hosting of the candle light service which was held on 12th August, 2026 was not a sacred church service, it was a campaign meeting and alot things exchanged hands, some which boarders on threat to National Security.
Alick Banda wanted to use the catholic church to help him take over government in hostile manner, what is surprising upto date is, Catholic Church in Zambia has not distanced itself from the fact that a candle light campaign meeting was held on its premises openly suppoting Mundubile and Makebi!
Now that the two have found themselves in treason investigation, were does this leave Alick Banda and The Entire Catholic Church?
Ba Barbara Musamba, how much have you been paid by UPND to go against Bishop Alick Banda ? I hear you are based here in the U.K. ? If so I urge you to unclog your mind and start thinking straight and objectively. Firstly I hope you understate that Freedom of Association is a basic human right meant to be enjoyed by every human being. Therefore Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu have and should have no restriction over who they associate with. Now if you are enlightened with the Zambian law, it is a offence to keep or receive a stolen property. If found you can be prosecuted. What I do not get and which leads me to conclude that the case against Kingsley Chanda on which he was convicted was politically motivated because how come they convicted the one who stole the vehicles but failed to take to court the one who received and kept a stolen property? Secondly , if you are Catholic then you will understand the importance of lighting candle on certain occasions. Should the Catholic Church in Zambia stop lighting candles just because the light is a symbol of a certain political party ? That reasoning is shallow and lacks knowledge and understanding and therefore must be dismissed with all the contempt it deserves. Stop licking UPND bums and be objective ma’am. Zambia is at a crossroads and you even have the audacity to declare that “If the hatred for HH continues we will declare him Life President ? Really ? Stop insulting the intelligence of Zambians. Wait and see where Zambia goes under HH and then you will come back to your senses like the proverbial prodigal son in the bible.
