CCZ WORKING ON RECONCILIATION AND DIALOGUE INITIATIVE BEFORE INAUGURATION
The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) says it is working to bring together President Hakainde Hichilema and Tonse Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile for reconciliation and dialogue before the inauguration.
Speaking on Tuesday ‘s edition of the Hot Seat Programme , CCZ General Secretary Reverend Canon James Phiri said the two leaders are being engaged as the Church continues its efforts to promote dialogue.
Rev. Canon Phiri said peace and unity should remain at the centre of national development, adding that election victories should not be an opportunity for retaliation.
He has called for challenges to be resolved through proper channels and urged citizens to use social media responsibly, expressing concern over hate speech and the use of children to insult political leaders online.

Reconciliation?
Honestly what reconciliation are these tuma church organizations talking about. One is a criminal the other is the President.
Are these people really serious about our country. There’s no need for reconciling the two as it is irrelevant. If anything Mundubile and Makebi will have to ask for forgiveness from Pres. HH so that their jail sentences are reduced or entirely quashed. Don’t force anything. You said you were called to preach, well then go to the pulpit and continue from there.
Crimes are sorted out by the courts of law.
Not by the church.
WTF is wrong with these idiots?
Mundubile has issues to answer to with ACC and other law enforcement agencies.
If the church misleadership persists in this path, they may end up being locked up for contempt and for subverting the course of justice.

This dialogue and reconciliation can only take place when the Security wings investigating the Militia allegations are done suspects taken to court. One thing we have to note is that a life has been lost and we need to know what really transpired. The last thing we expect is the Church to start meddling in these sensitive issues and we don’t expect the Catholic to be a part to the said dialogue and reconciliation at a later stage when the Security wings and the Courts are done and dusted with this case. We must start being a serious nation. There are too much jokes and stupidity in this Country.
Ati the church?? These PF thugs used to receiving corrupt brown envelopes. We know why they get hyper active when PF is involved! They will always support PF and hope they get back into power and continue receiving the envelopes. If anyone wanted to know what happened to the debt accumulated by PF! The so called churches also took part in the sharing of the debt money. The taught me a lesson and I stopped going to church because the churches themselves are led by criminals.
