THE FUEL INCREMENT HAS EXPOSED THE UPND LIES TO REDUCE FUEL – KABWE
Tonse Alliance Copperbelt Youth Information and Publicity secretary Humphrey Kabwe has accused the UPND government of betraying Zambians through the recent increment of fuel prices.
Mr. Kabwe says the announcement made by Energy Regulation Board (ERB)not only exposes the UPND lies to reduce fuel, but betrayal, hypocrisy and lack of leadership capacity to reduce the cost of living which they promised.
He tells Chikuni Radio News that this increment in fuel prices will cause a hike on the cost of living.
He challenges President Hakainde Hichilema and Finance Minister to tell the nation why they cannot use the $6.5 billion US dollars in the reserve to subsidize fuel.
And Mr. Kabwe SAYS citizens across the country must wake up and peacefully speak against this abnormal increment in fuel prices.
He says people’s silence is making the UPND government do whatever they think yet they are supposed to be listening to citizens.
In addition he urges elected Members of Parliament, Councillors and Mayors to speak against this recent announced increment.
ERB a announced that petrol has been revised upwards from K25.29 to K31.46 per litre, while diesel has gone up from K26.86 to K33.27 per litre.
Kerosene is now selling at K29.76 from K27.02 per litre, while Jet A-1 has increased to K31.85 from K28.71 per litre.
No wonder you lost, your simplicity nature of addressing serious problems are worrying. The majority of Zambians see things in reality. If the international community where fuel comes from is expensive, what do you want this govt to do? What would you have done differently? Instead of showing us your magic, you resort to cheap propaganda. Please help this govt govern.
