There are only FIVE Countries with Attack Helicopters in SADC

Angola : Maintains a fleet of Soviet-legacy attack helicopters, primarily Mil Mi-24/Mi-35 Hind variants.Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC): Reported by defense tracking lists to operate a small number of combat/attack helicopters.



Mozambique: Operates a small tactical rotary-wing component utilized in regional security operations.



Namibia: Maintains a limited number of armed or tactical helicopter assets within its air wing.



Zimbabwe 🇿🇼: The Air Force of Zimbabwe operates combat-capable attack helicopters, including the Mil Mi-35P.
