Tonse-Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has pledged to make recruitment into Zambia’s Civil Service merit-based if elected President.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Chongwe yesterday, Mr. Mundubile said government jobs should be accessible to all qualified citizens rather than being influenced by political affiliation.
“The Civil Service belongs to everyone. There will be no more databases. Young people who want to get jobs will receive them,” he said.
Mr. Mundubile said his administration would ensure equal opportunities for Zambians seeking employment in the public service, adding that recruitment would be conducted fairly and transparently.
