PF ENTOURAGE UNCEREMONIOUSLY EJECTED FROM NCWALA CEREMONY

PF acting president Hon. Given Lubinda and entourage which included Secretary General Hon. Nickson Chilangwa were today unceremoniously ejected from the Ncwala ceremony upon instruction from State House security.
The PF entourage were earlier accorded a thunderous welcome in the city of Chipata compared to Republican President Hakainde Hichilema.
And the PF acting Secretary General Hon Nickson Chilangwa said the warm welcome the PF received in Chipata seemed to have agitated the Head of State and his delegation.
He said an hour after the announcement of President Hichilema’s arrival the PF acting President Hon. Lubinda and entourage were asked to leave the venue.
He said efforts to find out where the instruction to have him out of the venue came from, a senior State House security official threatened to have Hon. Lubinda and entourage ejected by force if he refused to comply.
Hon. Chilangwa the Kawambwa Central lawmaker said attempts by traditional leaders to have the PF entourage remain at the venue were equally met with hostility.
” Our presence at Ncwala ceremony did not settle well with the delegation, and the handlers, of President Hichilema. We had no choice but to leave. It is very saddening that that the handlers of President Hichilema disregarded the theme of the ceremony namely ‘Promoting Healing, Unity and Reconciliation,” Hon. Chilangwa said.
” In the streets of Chipata and outside the arena, our delegation was overwhelmed with the attention, greetings, words of solidarity and encouragement. And our Acting President was besieged by numerous people who were paying tributes to him and taking selfies with him and we are proud of this show of solidarity to our leader,” he adds.
And Hon. Chilangwa said the PF will not accept the public humiliation of PF senior members.
