Ine I believe leadership should come from those who truly understand the ground they stand on.
In my honest opinion, Thomas Sipalo aka Diffikot is the best person to head the Ministry of Culture and Arts. And here’s why
He is an artist.. He understands the industry from the inside out. He knows ama struggles yama artists, the sacrifices and the dreams of those who give their lives to their craft.
But more than that.. he genuinely wants to see our sector GROW. Ichachine fye.
I’ve had countless conversations with him about the welfare of our artists and what needs to be done to uplift them. And after every conversation, I walk away confident. this is a well-meaning leader. This is someone who will make a difference
The arts deserve a champion who feels what we feel and fights for what we need.
I Mulaza Kaira, proudly endorse Thomas Sipalo for Minister of Culture and Arts. ✊
Let’s put someone in the room who understands the heartbeat of our culture.
