THREE PARAMOUNT CHIEFS CHALLENGE COURT RULING BARRING THEM FROM MUKUNI PARAMOUNTCY CASE
Three Paramount Chiefs, Chitimukulu, the Litunga and Kalonga Gawa Undi, have asked the Constitutional Court to quash a single judge ruling of 10th September 2026 barring them from joining the matter in which Bene Mukuni Royal Dynasty Committee Director General Jonas Shakafuswa wants Chief Mukuni to be declared a Paramount Chief.
In their application for leave to appeal against the single judge’s ruling, the trio say Judge Pixie Yangailo misdirected herself in law and fact by holding that they had failed to establish an identifiable legal interest in the proceedings or demonstrate how they may be affected by the outcome.
