TRUCK CRASHES INTO SIMON MWANSA KAPWEPWE TOLL GATE IN CHINSALI
A Tanzanian-registered truck carrying copper from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Tanzania has crashed into a pillar at tye newly constructed Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe toll gate .
The accident occurred around 18:00 hours in Chinsali District of Muchinga Province, leaving the front part of the truck extensively damaged.
The driver, identified as Eliasya Nehemiah Muchombo, is reported to have sustained no injuries.
Police and other relevant authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
