Trump Says Iran Backed Out of Deal, Then Launched Drone Attack
U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran agreed to what he described as a “perfect agreement” with the United States before allegedly violating it within hours.
“They agreed to an agreement yesterday. A perfect agreement for us. No nuclear. They gave everything up,” Trump said.
He added that, “after that, they left the room and, in the next hour, launched a drone against a ship.”
Trump did not provide evidence to support the claim or identify the vessel involved. Iran has not immediately responded to the remarks.
The comments come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with ongoing concerns over maritime security and the future of negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.
