TRUMP TORCHES ILHAN OMAR: “SHE COMES FROM A SH*THOUSE COUNTRY AND SHE’S TELLING US HOW TO RUN THE UNITED STATES”
President Trump unloaded on Rep. Ilhan Omar during a rally in Fort Myers, Florida, calling out her record and the latest revelations about her identity as federal investigators dig into her background.
“And she came into our country and she immediately announced that, ‘My constitutional rights allow me to tell you how to run the United States of America,'” Trump said from the stage. “She comes from a shithouse country and she’s telling us how to run the United States.”
The comments land as a Department of Justice filing refers to the Minnesota Democrat as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar” in connection with a search warrant for her Washington residence. Sources familiar with the ongoing probe say that is her actual name. Omar has denied the claim and insists her name has always been Ilhan Omar.
The filing has revived long-running questions about her immigration history, the lack of a birth certificate, and her 2009 marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi. No charges have been filed, but the investigation continues.-DTP
