Turkey and Pakistan Prepare Rapid Military Deployment to Saudi Arabia Under Defense Pact
Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan have activated their collective defense commitments following escalating attacks targeting the Kingdom.
The three countries agreed to take immediate measures to provide military forces and capabilities and ensure their rapid deployment to Saudi Arabia under approved arrangements and national laws.
The move follows an emergency defense meeting in Riyadh, as Saudi Arabia faces continued missile and drone attacks linked to Yemen’s Houthi movement.
The Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, signed in August, stipulates that an armed attack against any one of the three countries will be regarded as an attack against all three.
The agreement is now moving from a political commitment toward practical military coordination, strengthening the three countries’ collective defense posture.
