Turkey Moves to Build New Alliances Following Israeli Strikes on Its Assets in Syria
Turkey has reportedly begun strengthening and expanding its regional defense partnerships after Israeli attacks targeted Turkish military assets and interests in Syria.
Ankara is said to have concluded that it needs to reinforce its defensive posture and build stronger alliances to counter growing regional threats. As part of this strategy, Turkey has been developing closer military and security cooperation with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan.
At the same time, Turkey is accelerating efforts to modernize its armed forces, with particular focus on the development and advancement of its most sophisticated missile systems.
