TUSK: “NO ONE AND NOTHING CAN BREAK UKRAINE”

Poland has reaffirmed its commitment to Ukraine, recognizing the strength of its people and standing firmly behind President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Russia continues its war of aggression.

Following a conversation between the two leaders, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk delivered an unequivocal message of support.

“After my talk today with Zelenskyy, I’m absolutely convinced that no one and nothing can break Ukraine and its president in their fight against Russian aggression,” Tusk said.

“I assured him that he can count on Poland’s and Europe’s full solidarity with the Ukrainian nation.”

The statement carries particular weight after Donald Trump called for Ukraine to have a new president and attempted to place responsibility for the war’s continuation on Zelenskyy.

Tusk’s language left no confusion over where responsibility belongs. He described the conflict plainly as Russian aggression and stood behind Ukraine’s elected president while the country continues defending itself from invasion.

Poland has been one of Ukraine’s most important military, logistical and political allies since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. It also understands more clearly than most what a Russian victory would mean for the security of Europe.

While Washington directs growing pressure toward Kyiv, Poland’s message is unmistakable: Ukraine and its people will not face Russia alone.
