TWO STATE HOUSE OFFICIALS ARE OPENLY GAY, UPND SHOULD START WITH STATE HOUSE, SAYS FRED MMEMBE

👉🏾But he still doesn’t say whether he supports LGBTs or whether or not he is in love with Wynter Kabimba.
👉🏾In fact he carefully avoids mentioning Kabimba in his long winding write-ups

👉🏾 He clearly knows who is who

The UPND is a member of the African Liberal Network (ALN), which also a member of the Liberal International (LI).
And LI Human Rights Committee Bulletin 4th Edition – LGBTI Rights states:

“In the year since Liberal International launched its Human Rights Bulletin, the final edition of the publication for 2015 – which has attracted contributions from senior ministers, UN diplomats, and prominent activists – has been released, with a focus in this edition on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) rights.
Contributors from Africa, Asia, and Latin America have written and been interviewed about their experiences in fighting for a cause at the heart of all liberals – equality. In this fourth edition of the Bulletin, politicians, activists, and advisors offered insights and practical advice for overcoming the challenges of standing up for minority groups in countries and across continents.

Writing about the landmark human rights manifesto for Africa, adopted in 2014 by member parties of LI cooperating organisation, Africa Liberal Network (ALN), ALN vice-president Rosemary Machua, of the Kenyan liberals, ODM (LI member), emphasised the importance of having a ‘human rights framework for Africa, by Africans’.
The fact that sexual orientation is included in the Declaration is a tremendous achievement for African liberals. It firmly entrenches our view that LGBTI rights are important, recognized, and above all that they are human rights, added Mrs. Machua.
Addressing the political challenges associated with supporting minority groups in conservative societies, the Director of the Department for Women’s Rights in the DPP (LI full member), Taiwan, Dr. Ching-yi Lin, spoke of her party’s unwavering commitment to LGBTI communities, changing social attitudes and, eventually, being able to bring about tangible changes in government.
Chair of the LI LGBTI Working Group, Frank van Dalen, conducts an exclusive interview with government LGBTI rights adviser, activist and journalist, Enrique Torre Molina, who shares his views on what more politicians can do to promote the respect and advancement of the LGBTI community.
Speaking in Mexico City, Enrique describes the situation for LGBTI people in Mexico and across Latin America more broadly and the role of young people in creating spaces to advance LGBTI rights adding that liberal values are the “essence” of the equality movement.”

These are views from the organisations to which the UPND belongs.
To this add what we published yesterday:

“STATE HOUSE AND PROMOTERS OF GAY RIGHTS

If the UPND really wants to know who is dealing with the defenders, protectors and promoters of gay rights, they should start with State House.
On September 29, 2021 President Hakainde Hichilema hosted an ambassador of gay rights at State House. His name is Mr Tony Blair – a former British prime minister.

Mr Hichilema held talks with Mr Blair on the possible collaboration between Zambia and the Tony Blair Institute for global change.
Mr Hichilema said the institute is doing commendable work and hopes it can assist Zambia.
Mr Blair said his institute stands ready to help the new dawn administration.
Mr Blair has been recognised as one of the top gay icons of the past three decades, along with figures such as Boy George, Sir Ian McKellen and Barbra Streisand.

Gay Times said Blair’s status as an ambassador of gay rights was undeniable.
Mr Blair, as British prime minister, introduced laws recognising trans people, civil partnerships, banned employers from sacking employees because of who they love and made homophobia a hate crime.

Mr Joe Biden, on May 4, 2012 told NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ anchor David Gregory: ‘I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties. Who do you love? And will you be loyal to the person you love? And that’s what people are finding out is what all marriages, at their root, are about, whether they’re marriages of lesbians or gay men or heterosexuals.’

This is the President of United States today, the current occupant of the White House. And early in his presidency Mr Hichilema was a guest at the White House – something they were very proud of, were boasting about!
This week Mr Hichilema visited European Union Parliament in Brussels and addressed it.

Gay rights in the European Union are protected under the European Union’s (EU) treaties and law. Same-sex sexual activity is legal in all EU states and discrimination in employment has been banned since 2000.

The Treaty on European Union, in its last version as updated by the Treaty of Lisbon in 2007 and in force as of 2009, makes the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union legally binding for the member state of the European Union and the European Union itself. In turn, Article 21 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union includes an anti-discrimination provision that states that ‘any discrimination based on any ground such as […] sexual orientation shall be prohibited.’

Furthermore, the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union provides in Articles 10 that the European Union has a positive duty to combat discrimination (among other things) on the grounds of sexual orientation and provides in Article 19 ways for the Council and the European Parliament to actively propose pass legislation to do so. These provisions were enacted by the Treaty of Amsterdam in 1999.

In June 2010, the Council of the European Union adopted a non-binding toolkit to promote LGBT people’s human rights.
In June 2013, the Council upgraded it to binding LGBTI Guidelines instructing EU diplomats around the world to defend the human rights of LGBTI people.

So if one is looking for gays and defenders, protectors and promoters of gay right the starting point should be State House.
And this is the problem with malice, it boomerangs. Bob Marley sang in a reggae rhythm, ‘Why boasteth thyself, oh evil man
Playing smart and not being clever?
I said you’re working iniquity
To achieve vanity, yeah (if I sow, I sow)…No weak heart shall prosper
And whosoever diggeth a pit
Shall fall in it…’

And when it comes to allegations of being involved in gay activities, at least two names constantly come up from State House.

Again, we emphasize that if the UPND really want to know is involved with gay activities and issues in this they should start with itself and State House.

  1. Fred M’membe is hiding in the name of his political party and wanting to attack the UPND on this issue while he himself has not denounced gay rights and not even tempted to tell the nation that he is not gay. Just because people are quiet or do not know a lot of truth about Fred does not mean he is not gay or does not support gay rights. Let him come out honestly and tell the nation his stance instead of pointing the finger at the current administration. The new leadership has explained their stance and are abiding by the constitution period. If indeed there are people he suspects of being gay, he should report them to the police while he cleans up his own closet, because they know each other!

  2. Fred you really need to heal. You do everything you can in your power to have bally’s attention but from where I’m sitted HH has never paid any attention to you. Even when you fancied yourself to be a king maker, bally must have told himself he can one day win the presidency without your help and he did. Find a way to live with the status quo because he is also your president.

You (Fred) spent your time decampaigning HH in the 2021 elections. I think you are one of the few people that saw the wind of change coz let me be honest, I never saw it coming. I had actually given up on bally ever winning. But the point is despite the numerous scandals under your PF, and even when ECL wasn’t eligible to stand, according to you, ECL was a lesser evil.

Please let Bally rule. Some of us love him and can’t imagine ever being ruled by the likes of you. I hope and pray that you continue to be an apposition for many years to come.

Bally is younger than you but he has only ever respected you despite your hatred for him. And what’s more, he is far more intelligent than you and even richer but I guess this and many more items are what gives you sleepless nights.

Heal in the name of Jesus.

  3. Fred knows too much about who is gay and who is not. This intimate knowledge can only be acquired if you are within those inner circles.

In any case, what have guys done to anyone? Why the hatred? Is it because the white man told us to hate guys? The same white man that has embraced guys now?

Leave guys alone. Unless you yourself are gay inside but hiding.

  4. WHEREAS GAYISM, POLYGAMY, INCEST, WITCHCRAFT AND OTHER MORAL ISSUES ARE IMPORTANT, THEY ONLY BECOME SERIOUS WHEN THE ACCUSED PERSON IS CAUGHT IN THE ACT AND TAKEN TO COURT, AS THE CASE WAS FOR THE KAPIRI MPOSHI GAY COUPLE. A SERIOUS OPPOSITION POLITICIAN CRITICIZES THE GOVT ON ISSUES INVOLVING HUMAN RIGHTS, RULE OF LAW, DEMOCRACY AND ECONOMIC FREEDOMS. WHEN HON. LUO SUGGESTED THAT ZAMBIAN HIGHER EDUCATION CURRICULUM SHOULD INCLUDE WITCHCRAFT STUDIES, M’MEMBE WAS QUIET; DOES IT MEAN THAT HE SUPPORTED THE IDEA? ISN’T SORCERY THE SAME AS GAY MARRIAGES? IS M’MEMBE A HIGHLY MORAL PERSON?

  5. M’membe seems to be guilty conscious and he does not want categorically state his position whatsoever.
He’s extricated in his own web. Must have availed way too much to Wynter who now is using it to attack him.
Please clearly state whether you’re a beneficiary of the abnormal sexual orientation or no?. If not. Do you support it or not?.

  6. Let those promoting LGBT rights go ahead. the more they are opposed the more money they make. 99.9 % of Zambians are not concerned with LBGT. Promoting those rights with Zambians will go nowhere. Mmembe and the .1% of Zambians who are worried with LBGT rights can go to hell. Let us talk more serious things which affects Zambians.

  7. Fred you suck. Your job is to discredit HH. You have completely nothing credible to offer the country. Why don’t you talk about issues that would help the country grow? You’re very useless. You need to be told the truth.

  8. I still remember many years ago when late Robert Mugabe “Uncle Bob” unleashed his scathing and blistering attack on Gays or Homosexuals as “worse than Dogs”!!!

  9. Not a single gay or homosexual depleted a country’s resources like Mugabe and introduced decades of poverty on the citizens. Zero patience for these misguided African Christian hypocrites.
I sincerely hope there is a hell for people like Mugabe, forget gays whose relationships don’t actually cause any harm on anyone.

  10. Umwine wa Sodomy pa Zed … He knows all his customers … Kikikiki
So he tried to market his Socialist ideology and thought it would get him to plot 1 but miserably failed. Now he thinks the Sodomy ticket will do it for him?
What we know is that since the Liquidation of his past paper, he has been struggling to keep his high lifestyle going.
We wouldn’t be wrong to conclude he is minting from the Sodomy noise he has to make.
The only motivation to be a Sodomite is the greed for filthy lucre!
It’s an unfortunate pervasion. The only consolation is that it’s entirely a private affair. It has nothing to do with governance! Talking about it will not grow our GDP or getting our debt written off!
    Ba Fred is politically impotent!
He has nothing good to offer the nation! He’ll just corrupt our good nation with Sodomy ideology!

  11. The fact is that same sex is great sin before God and anyone practicing homosexual and lesbiansm is a sinner. Such people are not normal and should seek deliverance. Zambia is a Christian nation and allowing homosexuality is acting against God’s will.

Fred M’membe stop wasting our time talking about unproductive debates and issues. You are burning with jealous and shame all your tricks and hypocrisy were uncovered and shattered by president Edgar Chagwa Lungu. Although , we condemn former president Edgar Chagwa Lungu of economic mismanagement he did a great job to have crushed the Post Newspaper. Fred M’membe you are suffering from failure of acceptance that HH is president your project of hate speech and malice towards HH totally failed. Further, Zambia is a Christian nation therefore, we shall abide by the Constitution.

  12. Zambia is one of many fake Christian nations with rampant adultery, theft, lies. Worry about your own sins before judging others.

  13. Is my suspicion founded that we have Gay Purveyors and Proponents amongst our midst Guys, “Protect your backsides” hahaha!!!!

  14. We are a country of pretenders and lazy people. Just look at how much energies we are wasting on a nothing issue- not to say I support homosexuals or LGBT. No one cares so much about corruption fight, at the moment it only sounds like the President is alone. Indeed Mr Foot ( former USA Diplomat) was right).

So much adultery going on in churches and we say so much less about it, ironically the same Church is so quite with the current story of a murdered Catholic Priest seen with a known girl friend before his death. You can only read such on social media and much regarded as entertainment to the reader. I guess morals do not apply here..!
