U.S. escalates standoff : confirms indefinite blockade on Iranian ports

The United States has sharply escalated its posture, confirming that naval blockade measures against Iran will remain fully enforced with no set end date.

Under orders from Donald Trump, U.S. forces will continue the blockade at 100%, regardless of Iran’s brief attempt to signal a reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the Pentagon and United States Central Command, the objective is clear — not to halt general maritime traffic, but to intercept any vessel entering or leaving Iranian ports.

The strategy is aimed at cutting off Iran’s economic lifeline, with officials estimating losses of up to $400 million per day.

This confirms a deliberate pressure campaign, tightening control over maritime access while forcing Tehran toward concessions, particularly on nuclear terms.
