U.S. Invites Russia to G20 Energy Ministers’ Meeting
The United States has invited Russia to the G20 Energy Ministers’ Meeting in Houston, Texas, scheduled for September 14–16, Fox News correspondent Edward Lawrence reported, citing a White House spokesperson.
According to the report, Moscow has confirmed its participation.
The White House spokesperson also said a Russian representative attended the recent G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ meeting in North Carolina, indicating continued Russian participation in some G20 forums despite tensions with the West.
