U.S. Launches New Wave of Strikes on Targets Inside Iran
Smoke was seen rising from an Iranian port after the United States launched a new wave of strikes on targets inside Iran.
U.S. Central Command said the operation was carried out in response to attacks on commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
President Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that if attacks on commercial shipping continue, the United States could take further action, adding that “if it happens again, it will get much worse.”
The latest strikes mark a new phase in the ongoing military exchanges between the United States and Iran.
