A Texas man has reportedly called off his $200,000 wedding after becoming deeply disturbed by his fiancée’s reaction to the ongoing Lindsay Clancy trial.
David Marumbao, a content creator who shared his story on TikTok, claimed that he had been preparing to marry his fiancée the following month when a conversation about Clancy changed everything.
According to Marumbao, his fiancée told him that Lindsay Clancy was innocent and that he would never understand what a woman goes through.
He said the situation became even more shocking when he asked about Clancy’s three children and his fiancée allegedly responded, “Who cares?”
Marumbao said the response was enough for him to reconsider the marriage and ultimately cancel the wedding, despite having already committed around $200,000 to the planned ceremony.
“I can’t believe I was going to get married to a monster,” he said in the video.
