U.S. Strike Damages Maritime Control Tower at Chabahar Port
Iranian state media reported that a U.S. strike caused damage to the maritime traffic control tower at Chabahar Port in southeastern Iran.
According to the reports, the attack also damaged two docking facilities within the port complex. Emergency crews were deployed to assess the damage, while authorities continued evaluating the impact on port operations.
Local officials said power outages were reported in parts of the port area following the strike. No immediate casualties were announced by Iranian authorities.
Chabahar Port is located on Iran’s southeastern coast along the Gulf of Oman. Authorities are continuing to assess the full extent of the damage to the port’s infrastructure.
