U.S TO PAKISTAN’S TOP GENERAL: TIME’S UP, GET READY FOR SANCTIONS
In a scathing letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, 44 Members of Congress just torched Pakistan’s top general Asim Munir – accusing him of running a global crackdown machine targeting journalists, political opponents, and even U.S citizens.
The receipts are brutal:
– U.S-based journalist Ahmed Noorani’s brothers abducted and tortured after exposing military corruption.
– Musician Salman Ahmad’s family kidnapped – only released after FBI and State Department got involved.
– Civilians tried in military courts – judicial independence = gone.
– Peaceful protest now a criminal offense.
– 2024 elections = rigged, opposition jailed, media silenced.
– Women, minorities, and Baloch activists systematically targeted.
– U.S. citizens harassed and threatened by Pakistan’s military – even on American soil.
Congress isn’t mincing words: They’re demanding Global Magnitsky sanctions, visa bans, and asset freezes on Munir and every official involved.
They also want the immediate release of Imran Khan and all political prisoners.
No more blank checks.
No more silence.
America doesn’t partner with dictators.
