Ukraine Launches Attacks on Russian Oil and Logistics Infrastructure
Ukraine’s Defense Forces reportedly launched a series of attacks against strategic infrastructure across several Russian regions.
In Voronezh Oblast, a logistics hub belonging to Wildberries was reportedly hit, with footage showing the facility on fire following the attack.
In Orsk, Orenburg Oblast, the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery also came under attack, with a fire reported at the facility. The refinery has an annual processing capacity of around 6.6 million tonnes of crude oil.
Additional fires were reported at an oil refinery in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, and at a thermal power plant in Angarsk, Irkutsk Oblast. The causes of the latter incidents have not been independently established.
The reported attacks highlight Ukraine’s continued campaign against Russian energy, logistics and industrial infrastructure far from the front line.
