UKRAINE LAUNCHES MASSIVE COUNTERSTRIKE INTO RUSSIAN AIRSPACE

As Russia attacks Ukrainian cities with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones, a major Ukrainian long-range drone operation is simultaneously unfolding across Russian-occupied territory and deep inside Russia.

Indicative tracking shows Ukrainian drones moving across multiple corridors through occupied Crimea and toward Krasnodar and Rostov, while large formations are also reported over the Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Bryansk and Kaluga regions. Some trajectories appear to extend toward the approaches to Moscow, while others are moving east through Russia’s central regions.

The scale of the map suggests an effort to stretch Russian air defenses across an enormous area, forcing radar crews and mobile interception teams to respond simultaneously from Crimea to the Moscow approaches. The precise targets have not yet been confirmed, and these routes remain preliminary.

Ukraine and Russia are trading some of the largest aerial blows of the night—but there remains a fundamental difference: Russia is striking Ukrainian cities and civilian facilities, while Ukraine’s long-range campaign has focused primarily on the military, energy and logistical infrastructure sustaining the invasion.

This night is far from over.
