UKRAINE NEUTRALIZES 95 OF 112 RUSSIAN DRONES DURING DAYTIME ATTACK
Russia launched 112 attack drones against Ukraine between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on September 29, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. Of those launched, 29 were jet-powered drones.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down or electronically suppressed 95 of the 112 drones—an interception rate of nearly 85%. The neutralized targets included 18 jet-powered drones.
The figures show the intensity of Russia’s evolving aerial campaign. These are no longer attacks confined to the darkness of night: Russia is maintaining pressure throughout the day while increasingly deploying faster jet-powered drones designed to give defenders less time to react.
Ukraine’s air-defense crews continue working around the clock to protect the country’s cities and critical infrastructure.
