UKRAINE WARNS OF POSSIBLE LARGE-SCALE RUSSIAN ATTACKS ON BLACK SEA PORTS
Ukraine has warned that Russia may be preparing a major wave of attacks targeting key Ukrainian Black Sea ports, including Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi.
According to Ukrainian officials, Russia has increased the use of missiles and drones in recent strikes aimed at damaging port terminals, maritime infrastructure, and commercial vessels. Kyiv says the attacks could threaten Ukraine’s ability to maintain vital sea trade routes.
The warning comes after a series of Ukrainian drone operations that reportedly targeted more than 100 Russian vessels in the Azov Sea, causing concerns that Moscow could respond with intensified strikes against Ukraine’s coastal facilities.
Analysts say the Black Sea remains a critical front in the war, with both sides attempting to weaken each other’s naval capabilities and disrupt military and economic supply lines.
