UKRAINE’S UNMANNED FORCES STRIKE 34 ENERGY FACILITIES IN ONE WEEK
Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces attacked 34 energy facilities across Russian-occupied territory during the past week, according to commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.
The reported targets included electrical and railway traction substations, gas-distribution stations and other energy nodes across occupied Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as Crimea. Ukrainian drones also reportedly struck a Russian air-defense system near Mala Bilozerka and the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant.
In occupied Crimea, strikes were reported against numerous gas-distribution facilities, including sites around Nyzhnohirskyi, Yevpatoriia, Pervomaiske, Azovske and several other communities.
These attacks are intended to disrupt the systems sustaining Russia’s occupation forces. Traction substations power railway logistics, while electrical and gas infrastructure can support command posts, repair facilities, air-defense positions and other military operations.
Brovdi said the Unmanned Systems Forces have attacked 374 energy nodes since Operation “Crimean Switch Off” began on July 6. The figure remains a Ukrainian military assessment, but it illustrates how unmanned systems are being used not only against individual vehicles and soldiers, but to methodically dismantle the wider infrastructure supporting Russia’s occupation.
