UN Chief Warns Middle East Crisis Reaching “Edge of the Unimaginable”
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres warned the UN Security Council that the situation in the Middle East is approaching the “edge of the unimaginable,” urging all parties to prevent further escalation.
Speaking during a Security Council meeting, Guterres said the widening conflict risks drawing more countries into a broader regional confrontation, making the situation increasingly difficult to contain.
