UNZARALU MEET BINWELL MPUNDU TO PLOT AGAINST RE-ELECTION OF HH

Information from credible sources received indicate that some members of the Tonse Alliance at the University of Zambia (UNZA), operating under the guise of union activities, are unhappy with the level of student support for President Hakainde Hichilema (“Bally”).

The UNZALARU President Prof. Andrew Phiri, Vice President Msidi Chabala, Secretary General Liche Likezo Pumulo, Mr Mupuna, and others have held private meetings with Binwell Mpundu and other individuals to plot against President Hakainde Hichilema’s re-election bid.

According to the information, many union members are unaware of these  meetings. It is further revealed that there are plans to mobilise student protests next week in an effort to encourage them to participate in demonstrations.

Meetings are reportedly being organised, with some members  being used to create confusion and undermine student support for President Hichilema.

  1. That’s what democracy is all about. Let’s see whether they will be given a permit the same way they gave those for HH. It is very easy to preach about democracy when they march for you. When they march against you, you bring in the police and you say we have democracy in the country ?
