Update on the suspended 29 PF MPs:

THE 30 day suspension, from Parliament, of Mporokoso PF member of parliament Brian Mundubile and 28 others comes to an end today – April 13, 2022.

The 28 others are

4. Kabaso Kampampi (Mwansabombwe)

5. Christopher Shakafuswa (Mandevu)

6. Philimon Twasa (Kasenengwa)

7. Melesiana Phiri (Milanzi)

8. Remember Chanda Mutale (Chitambo)

9. Mulenga Fube (Chilubi)

10. Andrew Lubusha (Chipangali)

11. Leevan Chibombwe (Bahati)

12. Golden Mwila (Mufulira)

13. Emmanuel Tembo (Feira)

14. Christopher Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa)

15. Elias Daka (Msanzala)

16. Marjorie Nakaponda (Isoka)

17. Chanda Katotobwe (Luapula)

18. Kampamba Mulenga (Kalulushi)

19. Francis Kapyanga (Mpika Central)

20. Dr Aaron Mwanza (Kaumbwe)

21. Anthony Kasandwe (Bangweulu)

22. Christopher Chibuye (Mkushi North)

First deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Attractor Malungo Chisangano announced the suspension on March 15, 2022.

However, the House adjourned sine die on April 1, 2022.

For Chawama PF member of parliament Tasila Lungu, her 30 day suspension from the House ends on April 17, 2022.

Meanwhile, for Kabushi’s Bowman Lusambo, Taulo Kabwe Chewe (Lubansenshi), Mutotwe Kafwaya (Lunte) and Lucas Simumba (Nakonde), their 30 day suspension expires on April 22, 2022.

The 34 PF members of parliament were suspended for disrupting the proceedings of Parliament, in front of the Speaker’s mace, on November 30, 2021.

Parliament is expected to resume in June this year for the consideration of committtee reports session.
