THERE IS NO ROOM FOR GAY RIGHTS IN ZAMBIA AND AMERICA (WESTERN COUNTRIES) MUST STOP INTERFERING WITH OUR INTERNAL AFFAIRS!

The UPND-ALLIANCE COUNCIL OF PRESIDENTS does not support gay rights or (LGBTQ) practices. On various fora, the Republican President, His Excellency, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, has consistently denounced the gay- Lesbian agenda, and the entire Council of Presidents in the Alliance, is in support of this position against these neo-cultural imperialist practices, of imposing their wickedness on Africa and Zambia in particular.
1. “Gay rights”, are not rights in Zambia , but an abuse of our Constitution and our laws. Articles (8-9) of the Republican Constitution binds all National Values ,to be anchored on Christian values in practice. This is an enforcement of the Declaration of Zambia as a Christian Nation, as enshrined in our Preamble of our Republican Constitution. If anyone is window- shopping Zambia that is our worldview, as a nation.
2. Our Criminal Justice System, has prescribed laws in defense against morality in Cap. 87, Articles (155- 156), which explicitly criminalises acts of unnatural carnal knowledge in our society, as Sodomy. This is what our natural law and culture has agreed upon as Criminality and must be respected by all, especially, the Western Countries. All Diplomatic relations with Zambia, as a Sovereign Country and State , must respect our laws and internal security, and NOT compromise the same.
3. The Church Country -wide must be commended for standing up against Homosexuality in our Republic. The Church must remain resilient as the; Apostlic voice, Prophetic voice, and moral conscience of our nation. The Church must remain vigilant that Gates of Hell do not prevail against the nation, as a Watch-dog and intercessory role in building it as stated in ( Matthew 16:18-20, and Romans 1:26-32). God judges nations in scriptures, those who practice Homosexuality and those who tolerate it alike. The Church must not be silent at this hour. Prayer alone is not enough. We need to be proactive and vigilant to guard the morality of our nation.
4. All Civil Society Organisations and Political Parties funding and abetting Gay rights , must be identified and dealt with according to the full extent of the laws of the Republic. No sacred cows, must be left. Zambia cannot be sacrificed for few pieces of silver by anyone . No one is greater than the Constitution. All those in Government swear allegiance, to uphold the Republican Constitution.
5. The Office of the Vice President, under which the responsibility of religious and national values falls seems to have dropped their oversight role on morality and religious affairs . We urgently urge that clear sensitisation of national values must be an ongoing program countrywide, working with Church Mother Bodies . Zambia is at stake, and her national identity, by insidious well- funded groups.
6. Zambia as a Soveriegn state has the right to establish self- determination, without interference from anyone, not even Western Countries. Zambia does not interfere in internal Matters of other Countries. We Counsel the American Embassy to learn from their just Past Ambassador, over Matters of Homosexuality in Zambia which are an abomination in a Christian nation. All are advised accordingly.
