THE UPND LAWFARE HAS CLAIMED THE LIVES OF ITS FIRST VICTIMS- THEY SHOULD STOP TAKING POLICE AND COURT CASES TO FAR AWAY PLACES
17/10/2024
The case were our former Vice President and Secretary General Mr. J. Akafumba and Mrs. B. Atanga, respectfullly, sued our former President hon. C Kambwili that he is not NDC President is still in court.
All of the three, are no longer members of NDC and the matter has been overtaken by events, but this is the vindictiveness of this government. Wanting to see everyone in court for the most ridiculous of cases.
Imagine being sued that you are not President of a party by the very people that you actually appointed in those same positions that they are using to sue you in? Mrs Atanga, as the person who sued, vowed never to go to court after realizing her mistake and she has never been to court even once. But Mr. Akafumba and his colleagues in government have sustained this case using all sorts of gimmicks, from 2021 to date.
All the people involved in this case, from the plaintiffs, defendants, lawyers from both teams and even witnesses, live in Lusaka. But we always have to travel to Ndola to just attend this case. This is the case I was actually traveling to when I had that minor accident last month.
Making people attend cases in far off places other than where they live has a lot of consequences and sadly the Kambwili family has suffered the worst case scenario after losing two brothers. This could have been avoided. This lawfare is now fatal.
I urge the UPND government to ensure that people attend police and court cases in the areas they live in. For the NDC case, they even buy air tickets, pay legal fees, transport, accommodation and food for people that are not even supposed to be part of the case. While UPND cadres cry of hunger and neglect, they waste money on these people from NDC and other parties just to sustain court cases that have even been overtaken by events.
We can do better as a nation, the hate and vindictiveness is too much and will certainly boomerang on you.

Hallo madam is this not the case that made you to be ndc president? I think you need check your mind seriously, or maybe to much BJ’s and doggy’s with ghosts you can’t realize what you’re talking about. Give back ndc to Kambwili then.
The best thing you can do is avoid those cases in the first place, when you talk since and do things sensibly, there will be no court cases and no travelling to answer those cases, when you commit the cases you have to answer them when called upon, l know you are pretending to be speaking for Kambwili when in actual fact you are speaking for yourself. Just prepare to travel again
Bo sister Saboi traveling for cases has its old history in Zambia.President HH travelled more times when he was in opposition. You have just either forgotten or you are playing politics.People who drive individuals for cases that are to be handled at far locations must always mind the speed they drive. The tires have expiry dates it is important to understand the condition of these tires too even when the vehicle is new or in good condition. The bolts on the reems and studs must be checked regularly.Blame game, in this latest incidence must not be blamed on any, it was purely an accident. It is just unfortunate that it happened.
UPND are merchants of death, as we have known them to be for a long time. Their sadistic vengeance meted out on those that crossed their paths in the past is known to all and sundry.
That’s how politicians are, they are always quick to blame their opponents in order to get sympathy from people and in the end gain political mileage. Saboi is a woman, has she forgotten how her fellow woman, Sr. Chief Mukuni’s wife was arrested in Livingstone, then bundled into a vehicle and driven to Lusaka and there was no UPND government that time. People like Saboi never voiced out or never blamed PF for that, I don’t know why she is still insisting on blaming UPND now. Chances of dying when you are traveling or being taken somewhere are high and are the same for everyone. She is admitting that she had a minor accident when she had travelled to Copperbelt, so she should thank God that she had a minor one and others had a major one with fatalities. However, we still maintain that an offender is taken to a place where the crime was committed. Even internationally, there are extradition treaties between nations and if an offender flees to another country, arrangements are made to bring him back to the country where he was staying when he committed the offense, this is an international law, it does not come from UPND.
