CONFIRMED AND VERIFIED: HH HAS WON THE 2026 ELECTIONS

President Hakainde Hichilema has won the 2026 elections by 56.2%.
According to the verified Results yet to be published by the Electoral Body, Hichilema has beaten his closest rival of NRPUP/PF/Tonse Alliance Mundubile by amassing 56.2% of the National vote.
Out of the over 8 million registered voters, only slightly above 4 million voters turned out to vote in the 2026 elections.
Mundubile has pocketed 39.6% while his fellow other opposition have shared 4.1%.
Zambians have begun congratulating Hichilema with the Military and State security honours pouring in.
Hichilema as President- Elect, will this month, August be sworn in for the second term which will run from 2026 to 2031.
According to the Electoral system of Zambia, any loser like Mundubile can rush to the constitutional court for petitioning but that does not stop the President-Elect to continue with inauguration ceremony.- Koswe
