US Senator Rick Scott Calls Putin, Xi, Iran’s Supreme Leader and Kim Jong Un “Evil”
U.S. Senator Rick Scott has sharply condemned the leaders of Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, calling Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, Iran’s Supreme Leader and Kim Jong Un “despicable people.”
Speaking to Fox News, Scott said Americans must be prepared to defend their freedom and urged European countries to increase their own defense efforts.
“Putin, Xi, the Ayatollah, and Kim Jong Un are despicable people. We all have to understand as Americans that if we want our freedom, we’re going to have to fight for it.”
Scott also welcomed the passage of a Russia sanctions bill, saying the United States should remain an ally of Europe while European countries contribute more resources to their own security.
