USA doesn’t need to accuse Govt of failing to fight corruption to stop aid deliveries – Muhabi

Zambia We want spokesperson Muhabi Lungu says the American government does not need to accuse the UPND government of corruption in order for them to stop giving aid to the country.
In an interview, Lungu said if the American government wanted to stop giving aid to Zambia, they could not use corruption as a scapegoat, but rather just stop.
He added that US President Donald Trump was very clear in terms of why he was withdrawing certain aid to other countries.

True , America can not say Zambia is corrupt. Yes we know that the Ministry of Health has corrupt individuals but the American ambassador has no business of telling us what we are or not
Take your money and leave us alone.
We can’t always depend on aid.
