ZAMBIA HAS BEEN SURRENDERED TO LUCIFER, SAYS SUMAILI.
Former Minister of Religious Affairs Godfridah Sumaili has alleged that Zambia has been “surrendered to Lucifer” following the decision to move the National Day of Prayer and Fasting to December 29.
In an audio recording circulating widely on social media, Ms. Sumaili is heard strongly criticising the decision, arguing that prayer should not be postponed.
Ms. Sumaili says the devil is the only one who does not want people to pray, questioning why the National Day of Prayer and Fasting could not be held as expected.
“Zambia has been surrendered to Lucifer. If there is anything that Satan fears, it is prayer. And then you throw out prayer through the window. It does not make sense to say we shall do this and that together. We are already in October, and how can we not have the National Day of Prayer? If we don’t have the National Day of Prayer, then we will be in full hell,” she stated.
So madam Godfridah, has anyone stopped you from praying until the 29th of December? Guidance has bn given by the church that since 18th of October is falling on a Sunday, national prayers can still be conducted on that day. However, the 29th of December has bn designated as the day when prayers are going to be done in line with the commemoration of the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation. Chinshi ichishupile apa kanshi? Lucifer, Lucifer kwisa??!!
Zambia has been handed over to the devil, by who? Madam if you have nothing to say, you are better off to keep quiet. There is nothing the country is benefiting from you. It’s very shameful that even the Clergy are influenced by politicians instead of the vise versa. 18th October was put by politicians and it can be changed or removed by the same politicians, who said that if we don’t honor it then Zambia is handed over to the devil? Our country is being protected by the blood of Jesus and not by the 18th day of October. Actually the day God put for worshiping him is enough, we don’t need another day put by man, it’s not necessary.
Wasting so much time on nonsense. who can surrender a country to anyone? Do we really need the national show of prayers, what has the annual ceremony achieved so far?
Madam Godridah, your relevance in Zambian politics diminished a long time ago. Whatever you say makes no sense of late. Organise prayers in your hood on which ever day you like and pray. No one will take note of you. You are so irritating it hurts.

Her ministry was the most useless ever. The day of prayer, fasting, reconcilliation, et al is a mockery. You donot need a politician’s day of prayer for you to pray. This is just politics and has nothing to do with God. It also provides an opportunity for men of gold to rub shoulders with those who wield political power.
Why are we always arguing over this meaningless day? Scrap it!
