MUNDUBILE ESCORTED OUT OF MONGU PEACEFULLY WITH ‘FORWARD’ CHANT.
In a moment that caught many by surprise, Toonse Pamodzi Alliance Presidential Candidate Brian Mundubile was this evening greeted by a peaceful crowd in Mongu Town as chants of “Forward! Forward! Forward!” echoed through the streets.
Supporters and onlookers were seen running alongside Mundubile’s motorcade, repeatedly chanting “Forward” as the convoy made its way through town.
The atmosphere remained calm, with many waving and cheering as the presidential hopeful acknowledged the crowd.
Mundubile, who was flashing the Toonse Pamodzi Alliance symbol, responded with smiles as the chants grew louder.
In one of the videos circulating online, his photographer, Andy Luke Jnr, appears to gesture to another individual to stop recording the “Forward” chants.
The procession remained peaceful before the motorcade was later reportedly confronted by a group of political cadres who allegedly blocked its passage.
