WANTED IN SOUTH AFRICA? ZIMBABWEAN BUSINESSMEN LINKED TO ALLEGED MULTI-MILLION RAND GOLD CASE ARRIVE IN ROLLS-ROYCES AT WICKNELL CHIVAYO FAMILY FUNERAL

A funeral gathering linked to the Chivayo family has sparked major discussion on social media after several high-profile Zimbabwean businessmen arrived in luxury Rolls-Royce vehicles.

Among those seen at the event were businessman Joachim “G6” Chivayo and another businessman known as Pharaoh. G6 arrived in a blue Rolls-Royce Cullinan featuring personalized number plates, while Pharaoh was photographed arriving in a white Rolls-Royce.

The appearances have drawn attention because the pair were previously named in reports relating to an alleged multi-million-rand gold case in South Africa. South African authorities reportedly issued warrants after the suspects allegedly failed to appear in court, although the matter remains before the courts and no guilt has been proven. Reports have indicated that authorities continue to pursue the case.

The funeral was held in honour of Wicknell Chivayo’s late brother, with family members, friends, government officials and business associates gathering to pay their final respects.

Despite the sombre occasion, images of luxury vehicles, tight security and high-profile arrivals quickly spread online, with many social media users debating the contrast between the display of wealth and the legal controversies that have surrounded some of the attendees.
