A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, showing the singer falling down twice before he eventually died.
Although there are no confirmed details surrounding the cause of death, unconfirmed reports on Twitter suggest that Costa Titch had a seizure while performing before falling down and passing away.

Fans who had attended his performance also shared videos on social media showing the singer collapsing on stage before he was eventually pronounced dead.

The tragic incident comes just a few weeks after the death of another South African musician, AKA, who was gunned down on his way to his birthday gig in Durban.

Costa Titch and AKA were close friends and had worked on a hit song titled “Nkalakatha” which also featured the late Ricky Rick. The deaths of the three artists in such a short space of time have left many fans and industry players devastated.

Costa Titch, whose real name is Costa Tsobanoglou, was born in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, and had managed to keep his private life away from the public eye. His team and family have not yet released a statement regarding the cause of his death, and the music industry and fans continue to mourn his passing.

The South African music industry has lost some of its brightest and most talented artists in recent years, with the deaths of stars like DJ Dimplez, DJ Sumbody and Mampintsha among many others.
