WE REMAIN UNITED AHEAD OF PARLIAMENT OPENING – NRPUP
National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) president Ezra Tembo says the party remains united and focused ahead of the official opening of Parliament.
Mr Tembo, who is also Dag Hammarskjöld Member of Parliament, said the party leadership had met all newly elected MPs following a highly competitive election season to align their vision and strengthen the party’s direction.
“Our foundation is unshaken,” Mr Tembo said, assuring members, supporters and the public that there was no division within the party.
He said all NRPUP MPs and elected officials remained loyal to the party leadership and its direction.
Mr Tembo said Secretary-General Nonde Mubanga was finalising nominations under the proportional representation system, through which the party was projected to secure 16 representatives.
“There is zero division,” he said, adding that the party was ready to serve.
