WHAT WINNING OF DONALD TRUMP MEANS TO ZAMBIA AND THE WOLRD

Analysis:
1. Trump is likely to end the Ukraine war given his international posture with Russia and President Putin ;
2. Trump likely to end Israeli – Palestinian war , even if he was the first one to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel- remember that Trump and Republicans get along with President Benjamin Netanyahu so it will be easy to pursuade Netanyahu ; this is why it was easy for the Republicans to host Netanyahu a few months ago ;
3. As a result of end in war , World price of fuel will go down overtime thereby pushing the world cost of living down in developing countries like Zambia ;
4. Since Trump is more concerned with American politics and not much about African politics, democracy in some African may not be doing very well as Trump is usually unpredictable when it comes to making decisions on Africa;
5. Trump may upset US- China Relations on a number of fronts achieved if he so wishes vis , signed military MoUs last year , achievements made in the area of Artificial Intelligence( AI) – it is also possible that Trump may improve the US- China relations if he wishes for the sake of reducing tensions in the Asia- Middle East. Historically , Trump’s language on China has not been good . For example during Covid , Trump issued offending statements against China and called Covid as “ Chinese Flu”, which was not pleasing to the Chinese friends . It is expected that Trump will treat China differently this time for the sake of global stability ;
6. Trump may help end war in Sudan ;
7. It is also very likely this time around , that Trump may approach African politics differently by recognizing Africa as a serious partner in trade and industry unlike the way he approached Africa last time he ruled USA .
