WHY WAS CRISTIANO RONALDO LEFT ON THE BENCH AGAINST NORWAY? JORGE JESUS HAS EXPLAINED EVERYTHING!

Portugal manager Jorge Jesus has made it clear that Cristiano Ronaldo starting on the bench against Norway was NOT a sign that he has lost trust in the GOAT.

In fact, Jesus says he fully trusts Ronaldo. 🐐❤️

Before the match, Jesus explained the situation directly to Cristiano:

“You won’t start in the starting eleven, but I’ll bring you on during the game.”

According to Jesus, football sometimes requires rotation based on the team’s situation and the matches coming next.

With the Denmark match also in mind, Portugal felt there was no immediate need in that particular game to replace their forward with a player who has Ronaldo’s specific characteristics.

So, Ronaldo being on the bench was a tactical and squad-management decision — not a lack of trust. 🇵🇹🔥

CR7 remains an important part of Portugal’s plans. 🐐🇵🇹
