Yan Diomande’s performance against João Cancelo and the Barcelona players was unexplainable.
Remember, he’s only 19 years old, and this was his first El Clásico, where big players have tried to make a name for themselves at the biggest club, the team of the famous Galácticos.
Seeing Diomande perform like this left me questioning things, and I’m not the only one. Many people have even started doubting his age.
Is he really that comfortable on the ball? Many thought that Lamine was the only player who could take on opponents, going left and right like that.
But today, Lamine Yamal witnessed Yan Diomande doing exactly that, and Diomande was doing it in the best way possible, delivering when it mattered.
Cancelo faced a nightmare trying to mark Diomande!
I said it before: if José Mourinho gave this 19-year-old boy playing time, it would be very difficult to stop him.
I’m very proud of him. The guy knows how to dodge opponents, track back and defend, and he is also marvelous in attack.
